Terms & Conditions

By engaging Prolific Technologies for any IT services, web development, mobile app development, software solutions, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Prolific Technologies provides the following services:

• Web development and design services
• Mobile application development (Android, iOS, hybrid)
• Software solutions (ERP, POS, CRM, custom systems)
• IT consulting and infrastructure setup
• Hardware sales and networking solutions
• Digital marketing and SEO services
• Technical support and maintenance

All projects will be governed by a separate project agreement or statement of work that outlines specific deliverables, timelines, and costs. These terms supplement but do not replace project-specific agreements.

• Payment terms will be specified in individual project agreements
• We accept bank transfers, mobile money, and cash payments
• Late payments may incur additional charges
• Refunds are subject to project-specific terms and completion status

Upon full payment, clients will own the intellectual property rights to custom software, websites, and applications developed specifically for them. However, Prolific Technologies retains rights to:

• General methodologies, techniques, and know-how
• Pre-existing intellectual property and tools
• Generic code libraries and frameworks

We provide warranties and support as specified in individual project agreements. Generally, this includes:

• Bug fixes for a specified period after project completion
• Technical support during business hours
• Maintenance services as agreed upon
• Training for system users when applicable

Prolific Technologies' liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, business processes, and proprietary data. We will not disclose confidential information to third parties without written consent, except as required by law.

Either party may terminate services with written notice as specified in the project agreement. Upon termination, payment is due for all work completed to the date of termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, through the courts of Uganda.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
